Status after September 2018 visit

Read manual, added attenuation to input 10 MHz reduce amplitude to ~-1 dBm rather than 9 dB.

Re-tightened internal and external SMA connections - none were loose

Removed moderate quantity of bugs from input fan, PSU area.

Removed fan and cleaned with compressed air.

Voltages Measured at Supply:

PC -

  • GND: Ok.
  • +5V: 5V. 7mV AC voltage. No ripple, but ~500 mV spikes every ~13 microsec.
  • +12V: 11.9 V. 1mV AC voltage. No ripple but spikes every ~13-14 microsec.

PS1 - Multimeter AC Volts all zero. Ripple present with ~2 MHz frequency.

  • GND: Ok.
  • +3.3V (Orange): 3.3V. 600mV p.t.p ripple
  • +5V (Red): 5V
  • +12V (Green): 12V 400-500 mV ptp ripple, more regular.
  • -5V (Violet): -5V

PS2 - Multimeter AC Volts all zero. Ripple present with ~2 MHz frequency.

  • GND: Ok.
  • +3.3V (Orange): 3.3V . 600mV p.t.p ripple, ~2 MHz period.
  • +5V (Red): 5V
  • +12V (Green): +12V
  • -5V (Violet): -5V
