Handover notes
Please use this page to write up any notes on anything that needs to be passed on to the next observer or should go into the end of experiment message.
Notes should be placed below the horizontal line as a new blog entry.
Continuing problems should be copied to the Current Issues page.
**Template for Handover notes:**
Be sure to add any specific notes about the experiment if required, for example “Special back end configuration for x reason”. Put as much detail as you can - the more the better.

Format for entering a comment It is important to stick to this formula - there is a good reason we need this information, so please include it!

Again - as much detail as you can. It is important to remember that these notes will be sent to the correlator, so please make sure they make sense to others.

- 02:20 UT - Antenna stuck. Restarted at 02:30 UT missing scans: 060-0220 to 060-0234 (vk)
- 02:52 UT - Antenna stuck… again. Missed scans: 060-0252 to 060-0258 (vk)
- 03:00 UT - Antenna stuck. Called JMc who suggested calling Yg. Called Yg. No answer. Continued to “Reboot Central” in HMI. Missed scans: 060-0300 to 060-0312 (vK)
- Expected disk_pos deficit = 83 GB
- 05:00 UT - disk_pos drifting since ~03:30 UT. Deficit is now ~55 GB, even considering the deficit from stoppages (vk)
- 05:56 UT - Antenna stuck. Missed scans: 060-0556 to 060-0603a (vk)
- Expected disk_pos deficit = 83 + 20
- Spoke to John on the phone who informed me that there has been a power outage at Yg for the last ~3 hours and telescope has been operating on generators. Expecting mains power from ~07:30 UT
- 07:03 antenna lost connection (due to generator issue?), 07:05 restarted, scans afefcted 0705-0709
- Experimented ended 1400 GB behind?? But I ran through the list of scans one by one and couldn't find any missing after 07:07 UT (Ellen)

- It appears a large pointer jumped occurred after the first scan; mk5 thinks the first scan is 9419 GB big. (Chris)In fact, mk5hb just jump-swapped the banks – it started to append data to the module HOB+0100/16000 that contains a1512, a1213, r4676 and its last pointer position was indeed at 9419GB (Liza, on 01.03.2015)

- 06:37 UT - “WARNING: error st -27 computer acu time difference exceeded 0.25 seconds, see value above.” For the last ~1 minute. Wiki says can be safely ignored (vk)
- 09:43 UT - “Antenna communication software (antcn) problem.” Fixed with antenna=open as suggested in log monitor. Missed scan: 058-0947a

Had to stop and restart schedule several times to ensure mk5hb was working correctly. No scans lost however, as recording on flexbuf did not stop. (Imogen)
