Handover notes
Please use this page to write up any notes on anything that needs to be passed on to the next observer or should go into the end of experiment message.
Notes should be placed below the horizontal line as a new blog entry.
Continuing problems should be copied to the Current Issues page.
**Template for Handover notes:**
Be sure to add any specific notes about the experiment if required, for example “Special back end configuration for x reason”. Put as much detail as you can - the more the better.

Format for entering a comment It is important to stick to this formula - there is a good reason we need this information, so please include it!

Again - as much detail as you can. It is important to remember that these notes will be sent to the correlator, so please make sure they make sense to others.

- Note - DBBC# summary is showing Sampler 1 as bad - this is ok for now, just down to a reporting threshold issue (JMc)
- Nuisance errors about antcn timeout (st -999). Seems to be timing out by fractions of a millisecond and restored immediately afterwards (JMC)
- 0923 UT - Power failure (?). Drives off, DBBC rebooted. GPIB also locked, ditto CNS clock (JMc).
- 1040 UT - Schedule resumed (JMc)

- 2206UT - Tracking locked up, fixed with 'abort' and 'drvon/drvoff' in vdesk. Missed scans 019-2141 to 019-2206 (Patrick)
- 2242UT - encoder glitch? drives shut down during scan 019-2242 drives restarted and slewed to next source (Warren)
- 2300UT - dead limit switch activated near zenith. mechanical fault. schedule halted (w)
- 2357UT - fixed problem on antenna. schedule resumed. so-called “encoder glitch” occurring weekly was limit switch activating momentarily near X=0.0 (w)

- 0113 UT ERROR sc -13 setcl: formatter to FS time difference 0.5 seconds or greater (w)

- Above example errors appear only intermittently (18 times so far) about two/three an hour (w)

- The disk has 1070 gb remaining space while the experiment is 1460 gb worth data. We'll mostly require a disk swap approximately 17.5 hours from experiment start time(Prad)
- Pain when R1 recording spread over two modules. Warren to stream 350 GB data from new module HOB+0104 from yg to Hobart (w)
- 1100 UT estimated time to change to 16 TB module (w)
- 0946 UT error: mark5 probably not running. Halted schedule.The connection to mk5yg failed, rebooted from ipsyg and resynced. Resumed schedule at 0955UT. Missed-scans 019-0945b until 019-0950 (Lim).
- 1111UT swapped to HOB+0104 in between scans. No missed scan (Lim).
