Handover notes
Please use this page to write up any notes on anything that needs to be passed on to the next observer or should go into the end of experiment message.
Notes should be placed below the horizontal line as a new blog entry.
Continuing problems should be copied to the Current Issues page.
**Template for Handover notes:**
Be sure to add any specific notes about the experiment if required, for example “Special back end configuration for x reason”. Put as much detail as you can - the more the better.

Format for entering a comment It is important to stick to this formula - there is a good reason we need this information, so please include it!

Again - as much detail as you can. It is important to remember that these notes will be sent to the correlator, so please make sure they make sense to others.

- 1730UT-Experiment started OK (Simin)
- 1305UT - rxp is not providing focus position info, instead it is returning error about connection with remote host lost. Live page says receiver position is correct. (Tiege)
- 1400UT - Have arrived at MtP, going to open the valve and cool the S/X receiver. Also needed to put a module in for the next experiment. (Tiege)
- 1435UT - MK5 crashed when new module went in (despite me waiting until between scans to turn the key on the second bank). Power-cycled the mk5 and everything is back running. No data was recorded between 1435UT and 1450UT (missed scan 178-1437). (Tiege)
- 1600UT - Heading back to Sandy Bay, cooled receiver down to 65-70K, will likely need to be done again in the morning. (Tiege)
- 1700UT - Fixed issue of ops8 not having sound, needed a reboot for it to begin working correctly. (Tiege)
- 1711UT - seems like it only temporarily fixed the sound. Have tried different speakers, they also do not seem to work. Going to rely on the SMS to mobile for now. (Tiege)
- 1737UT - pressure reading from cryomon went negative for a few scans in a row. Seems to have come right, I am putting it down to the dodgy sensor. (Tiege)

When experiment started, received “ WARNING: error qo -301 warning: onsource status is slewing!” for each scan. All clocks at FMSET are synchronise.
23:30UT - Autocorrelation spectra not updating. Lucas fixed based on similar error where procedure file didn't include checkmk5 command (Ross).
13:45UT - 70K stage at ~90K and climbing, pressure at 3.6 microns mercury. Heading out to Mt Pleasant to fix. (Patrick)

When experiment started, received “Warning: error tc -301 continuous cal not enabled for dbbc” for each scan
23:21UT - After discussion with Warren decided to reboot dbbc to see if that fixed continuous cal error. Halted after scan no0385, first good scan no0388 (Ross).
00:08UT - Noticed difference in procedure file between crds96 and previous crds experiments and corrected this error; missed scan no0394. Error still present, leaving for Warren to look at later (Ross).
13:29UT - Fixed continuous cal not enabled error by changing cont_cal=off to cont_cal=on in the setup01 function of the procedure file, based off the previous crds95 procedure file. (Patrick)

16:09UT - Manually drudged summary files. Noticed that data for Yg & Ho is 8064GB, while module in mk5 is 8000GB. Called up Yg and swapped modules inbetween scans. Resumed schedule with scan No0551 at 16:11:58 (1:48 into scan). (Patrick)

- Experiment started okay (Lucas).
- 08:22 UT noticed coordinates had not changed, checked to see the FS had crashed. Restarted FS and the schdule, missing data from 0729 UT till 08:22 UT. It appears log monitor had also stopped responding. (Arwin)
- 08:40 MK5 was not working properly, had to restart dim. Basically no useful data between 0729 UT and scan number 170-0852. (Arwin)

- Experiment started okay (Lucas).
- Mas3r vnc (aka → maseryg) not reachable, however 59.167.111.242 pingable. Clocks stable and yet changing, so maser itself is still reachable.
- 11:00 UT Humidity sensor appears to not be working. (Arwin)
