Handover notes

Please use this page to write up any notes on anything that needs to be passed on to the next observer or should go into the end of experiment message.

Notes should be placed below the horizontal line as a new blog entry.

Continuing problems should be copied to the Current Issues page.

**Template for Handover notes:**

Be sure to add any specific notes about the experiment if required, for example “Special back end configuration for x reason”. Put as much detail as you can - the more the better.

It is ESSENTIAL to put your name after EVERY entry. Copy and paste the template into the new handover notes

Received error “Problem connecting to metserver socket” for every scan (mas)

18:00 UT Experiment started OK (mas)

18:37:40 UT Log monitor started to report negative disk usage for some of the scans (mas)

19:53 UT Halt schedule to sync the Field System clock. Missed scans no0022 & no0023 (mas)

07:30 UT - Noticed autocorrelation spectra was not updating. Checked procedure file (compared to aua043) and noticed it was missing a bunch of procedures (including postob, which produces the spectra). Copied those procedures into the aua045ho.prc file, and reloaded it with proc=aua045ho. Now the spectra are showing up, and they look fine (Patrick)

11:34UT - windstowed: 11:34-11:56 (scans no00183-no00186) (Patrick)

16:55UT - S/X receiver cryo pressure jumped to above 6 microns Hg, and 70K stage started warming up. No point driving out to Mt. Pleasant to fix it, as experiment only has 1 hour to go. (Patrick)

  • Experiment started okay (Lucas).
  • Had to quickly restart dimino on mk5ke. Wasn't sure it was running correctly as it didn't have the “./dim r1845ke” in ps -ef | grep -i dim even though DIMino -m0 was running (Lucas).
