Installation

Purchased and downloaded software from symantec.com and put into My Documents\Downloads directory. Uncompress.
Install ISO Recorder from http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/v2.htm
Install a burner in the PC!
Put black CD in drive, right-click on ISO file and select “Copy Image to CD”
Re-insert the CD and go through installation process
Once in the setup GUI, go through the wizard. Specify backups at 10 PM on Sat, Sun and Wed (avoids R1 and R4 times). Also set event triggers, to do a backup whenever an application is installed.
Create a recovery DVD:
- From GUI menu: Tasks → Create Recovery Disk
- Follow the prompts (take all defaults)
- at the end, choose the Test option (Reboot required) and boot from the DVD, check it boots.
- Reboot, label DVD, put it in a safe place
