Before going further, it's a good idea to make sure all activity is logged in the appropriate log file on th PCFS machine. So in the Operator Input section of e-remote Control (or in the Operator Input windown on the pcfs[hb|ke|yg] VNC session) type:

log=<experiment_name><station_ID>

For example, if the experiment is r1456 and the station is Katherine, type:

log=r1456ke

The log window should confirm a new log file has been opened and the Status Monitor window will tell you the name of the log too ¹⁾.
