Once the experiment has started and valid data are being recorded, send a start message to IVS. Note, you may need to manually enter weather details (especially for Yarragadee).

On ops2, open a terminal and type

start_message.pl

then follow the prompts. You will have the opportunity to review and edit the message before it is sent.
